What a beautiful location, breathtaking. A very warm welcome, you feel at home because of the fine reception. The hosts help you with everything you could want. The gîte is also spick and span and meets all your needs. Had a very relaxing holiday. Exactly as it should be! We recommend it to everyone and will definitely come here again!

Had a lovely weekend at domaine Cadignac. Beautiful flat with all the trimmings and a great view!!! Leo and Esther until next time….

Freek & Debbie, April 2023

At Domaine Cadignac, we felt like God in France as usual. From the sunny terrace, with a glass of wine in hand, a cheese nearby, we enjoyed the vines in the valley below us in ‘deafening’ silence, watched the olives come out of the blossom and listened to the cheerful twittering of the birds.

The flat of the ever friendly and helpful hosts Esther and Leonard is furnished with taste. A touch of nostalgia with the look of today. The kitchen is fully equipped, the bathroom is comfortable. Everything not only looks new, but is new. From the first moment, we felt at home here.

The nearby forests invite you to go for a nice walk. By the way, you can walk everywhere in the area. Tip: the route along the medieval village of La Roque-sur-Ceze with the waterfalls nearby.

In the village of Tresques, near Domaine Cadignac, we imagined ourselves in the France of old. A medieval tower with an exhibition of contemporary art, a bakery and grocery shop, a water spring where the villagers tap their daily drinking water and a good winemaker. Where do you still find these villages?

The residence is conveniently located for visiting larger cities. Half an hour’s drive and you are in Orange with memories of the Dutch royal house or in the papal city of Avignon, where you can browse in one of those real French bric-a-brac markets in a suburb every Saturday morning. Or you can walk around Nimes’ Collesseum after an hour’s drive and have visited the impressive aqueduct built by Romans on the way there. The ancient city centre of Nimes and of historic Avignon are also an eldorado for funshoppers.

In short, the fully equipped and rustic Domaine Cadignac was an ideal base for us to (re)discover French nature and culture. We will definitely come back here again!

A fantastic place to be, hosts are very friendly and helpful. The gîtes are beautiful decorated and the view is stunning. We had a great time and I would not hesitate to book this beautiful domaine for a holiday again.

Miriam van Dijke – april 2023

It is early spring. My husband and I decide to go to the South of France for a fortnight.  Our eye has fallen on Domaine Cardignac. It is in the Gard region and close to nice places. Like Uzès, Nîmes, Avignon.

What a surprising place on arrival. Two enthusiastic owners, proudly showing off their new domaine. There are two gîtes. A large swimming pool, several terraces and expansive views.

Our gîte is very comfortable. Spacious living room with dining kitchen. The kitchen is fully equipped. Bedroom is very spacious with good mattresses. Large bathroom with two sinks.

As it can be quite chilly in the evening in spring, this cottage has a wood-burning stove with hot air conditioning. It is comfortably warm then.

The garden is tastefully decorated. You have your own privacy and that choice is nice.

We had a lovely two weeks here and will definitely come back next year. Thank you Esther and Leo for your hospitality.

Sonja en Harry Oesterman – april 2023

Lovely quiet gîtes with beautiful views over the wine fields. Close to Uzès, a very pretty historical market town (20 min. by car).

The gîtes provide everything you need, i.e. comfortable beds, spacious bathroom, cosy sitting room and fully equipped kitchen. There is a swimming pool with lounge beds and our gîte (Maison Carrée) even had a small private pool.

The area is great for walk through the woods and over the wine field. There are restaurants in the area that are a short drive away. We had a great and relaxing time and will definitely be back !

Simply fantastic, location, tranquillity and of course the property, TOP !!!

Marco Rychiger – august 2022

In June, we stayed for a fortnight at domaine Cadignac in gîte Joie de Vivre. In the middle of the vineyards. Plenty of peace, space and beautiful views. The pool is great and beautiful views there too.

Esther & Leonard, what a wonderful accommodation you have realised and you are still busy refining it even further. We enjoyed your hospitality !!! See you in 2023 !!!
